Terms of Use
Last updated 28 October 2026
These terms apply to the EatNow app and website, made by Virgin Gates, Cairo, Egypt. By using EatNow you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use EatNow.
What EatNow is
EatNow helps you discover dishes and places to eat. It shows public videos by food creators through the official TikTok and Instagram embeds, videos and reviews posted by EatNow members, and restaurant menus, prices, ratings and delivery times read from public sources such as talabat and Google Maps. EatNow is not a restaurant or a delivery service, and it is not affiliated with talabat, TikTok, Instagram, Google or any creator or restaurant shown.
Information can change
Prices, availability, opening hours, ratings and delivery times come from third parties and can change or be wrong. Always check the final details in the delivery app or with the restaurant before you order. Orders, payments, refunds and food quality are between you, the delivery service and the restaurant. Our labels (what delivers to you, hidden gems, fine dining, trending) are estimates from the data we have, not guarantees.
Creator content
Creators' videos belong to their creators and are shown through the platforms' official players. EatNow's dish tags, trend scores and summaries are our own estimates. A creator appearing in EatNow does not mean they endorse EatNow. Creators who want their videos removed can ask on the support page.
Accounts and reviews
You can sign in with Apple to rate and review places and to post. Your name and what you post are public. Write about your own experience. EatNow has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users: no hate, harassment or threats, no sexual content or slurs, no other people's private details (phone numbers, addresses, staff names), and no spam, ads or links. An AI moderator checks every review before it shows. We remove reviews that break these rules and block accounts that keep breaking them. You can edit or delete your reviews at any time, and delete your account in Settings.
Videos, photos and voice you post
You can post video or photo reviews of places, with your own voice-over or one made by EatNow's narrator from a script you approved. Post only what you made or have the right to share, about food, drinks and food places. You keep ownership of your posts; by posting, you let EatNow store, show and share them inside EatNow and on EatNow's own pages and channels while they are up, credited to your EatNow name. The same community rules apply as for reviews (no hate, harassment, nudity, violence, other people's personal details, spam or links), and don't film people who haven't agreed to be filmed. An AI model checks every post before it shows; we remove posts that break these rules and block accounts that keep breaking them. Delete a post any time.
The music loops and sound effects offered in the editor ("EatNow Beats") belong to Virgin Gates; you may use them in posts made in EatNow and in sharing those posts, not elsewhere.
Bites, missions and restaurant pages
Bites are points with no cash value; they can't be sold, transferred or exchanged for money, and we may adjust them to correct mistakes or abuse (for example fake visits). Missions are set by restaurants: the reward (a discount or code) comes from the restaurant and is its responsibility, under its own conditions. Restaurants may claim their page after we confirm it's really them; they can reply publicly to reviews and start missions, and must follow the same rules.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse EatNow: no scraping, reverse engineering, fake accounts or fake visits, abusing the report button, or using EatNow to break the law. We may block access that harms the service.
Reporting content
Use "⋯ → Report this" on any video, post or review. We review reports promptly and remove content that breaks the rules; videos reported by several people, and reviews reported by more than one person, are hidden automatically while we review. You can also block a member from the "⋯" menu on their review: their content disappears for you at once and we are notified.
No warranty
EatNow is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, Virgin Gates is not liable for indirect losses arising from your use of EatNow or of the third-party services it links to. These terms are governed by the laws of Egypt.
